I didn't support the nomination of Judge Janice Rogers Brown to the federal court. It seemed to me she was too ideological to care about the truth, only about the outcome. I pretty much agreed with the People For the American Way and saveourcourts.com on Judge Brown. Judge Brown's record seem to show she only cared to protect corporations and government infringement on fundamental rights. And the fact that her nomination had come from this current administration only made her seem worse. So, no, I wasn't a big fan and this recent dissent isn't going to turn me into one. It does, however, give me hope. I mean, in what world is a group of persons not "persons"?
In other news important to me, Bob Herbert's assessment of New Hampshire primary results seem to be the most reasonable.
