By Tuesday morning the heat was becoming too much for Bartholomew to handle. Second District GOP chair Gary Byler told the Virginian-Pilot that Bartholomew "agreed to resign because the e-mail had become a distraction to the Nov. 2 election." He offered this to the paper by way of explanation for the racist email:He's "not a racist" for forwarding this email by "accident":
MY DOGBut that's not all the racism going on! A Florida state representative is working on a Arizona-like immigration bill with one major difference:
I went down this morning to sign up my Dog for welfare.
At first the lady said, "Dogs are not eligible to draw welfare".
So I explained to her that my Dog is black, unemployed, lazy, can't speak English and has no frigging clue who his Daddy is.
So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify...
My Dog gets his first check Friday.
Is this a great country or what?
Even if an officer has "reasonable suspicions" over a person's immigration status, the bill says, a person will be "presumed to be legally in the United States" if he or she provides "a Canadian passport" or a passport from any "visa waiver country."Yeah, so basically, if you're white, you're good. And I guess if you look Latino but are really from Spain, you're good. And if you look African or Caribbean but are really from England or France, you're good. And if you really are a Latino here illegally, but you're a Canadian national, you're good, too.
What are the visa waiver countries? Other than four Asian nations, all 32 other countries are in Western Europe, from France to Germany to Luxembourg.
But just so you don't forget, America is not a white supremacist country. We just do a lot of things a white supremacist country would do.
